EARLY VOTING NUMBERS IN TENNESSEE MAY BODE WELL FOR GOP.

The early voting period in Tennessee came to an end on Thursday with about 715,000 votes having been cast. That compares to 543,000 votes cast in the early voting period during the August primary in Tennessee. In key GOP counties across the state the early voting totals have been heavier than they were in August for the primary elections, while in Democrat heavy Memphis the total early vote actually went DOWN from 93,000 in August to 91,000 for the general election. In Williamson the votes increased from 8,800 in August to 28,000. In Rutherford the votes went up from 14,800 in August to 30,000 for the general election. In Knox county an increase from 36,000 to 57,ooo. One cautionary note, the last day of early voting in Memphis (Shelby County) recorded 14,000 votes! If the Democrats roll out the buses in Memphis on election day they can bring a LOT of votes to the polls.
