So, I can get a burger “my way” in a matter of minutes but it takes four hours to get a driver’s license!?!?!!?! Why don’t we put these same folks in charge of our healthcare!!! Oh, wait, that’s exactly what we are doing. CLICK HERE.

A few ideas to speed things up:

1. Pay the state employees who work in these centers based on the number of licenses and permits actually issued each day, with a minimum quota to be paid ANYTHING!

2. Or, if you wait more than an hour your fees are waived and the fees get paid collectively by the employees at the particular center…they will quickly make sure the slow workers are so uncomfortable that they will quit.

3. Or, we could just fire ALL OF THEM, outsource the whole thing and hire those folks at fast food restaurants. They know how to provide quick service.

Finally, if the wait time is not averaging less than an hour by next summer, then no legislator should be able to qualify to be on the ballot for the 2014 elections. This should apply to the Governor, too. I bet they would figure out a solution real quickly if their own jobs were on the line!
