Legalizing “sin” doesn’t make a society less sinful. Cultural decline is only reversed when a society aspires to something better, not condoning the worst and most destructive human impulses. You can’t legislate morality, but legislating immorality will certain produce a more vulgar, damaging and dangerous society than one that has some rules founded on morality and “doing what is right” rather than what feels good “right now.”
