If you kid is in a classroom with a bad teacher, will another month of exposure to that teacher really improve the quality of their education? Instead of spending more time, why not do more with the time by getting rid of the incompetent and inept teachers and hiring more good ones…and paying the best teachers more than the mediocre ones?
